Change Login Type – Instagram Login to Facebook Login in ReplyRush

If you are already connected to ReplyRush using Instagram Login and are facing errors while sending Auto DMs, the most likely cause is that your account is connected via Instagram only.

Due to recent issues with the Instagram Business API, Auto DM is more stable when connected through Facebook Login. For this reason, we highly recommend switching your login method from Instagram to Facebook without deleting your ReplyRush account.

 

Steps to Change Login Type

 

1. Detach Your Instagram Account

  • Go to Connected Accounts from the ReplyRush sidebar.


  • Select your Instagram account.


  • Click Detach to disconnect it.

2. Remove Instagram Account

  • Once detached successfully, you will see a Remove option.

  • Click Remove to completely delete the Instagram account connection from ReplyRush.

3. Reconnect Using Facebook Login

If You Have Only One Instagram Account:

  • After removing the account, you will see two options on your dashboard:

    • Login with Instagram

    • Login with Facebook

  • Select Login with Facebook and follow the steps to connect your Instagram via Facebook.

If You Have Multiple Instagram Accounts:

  • Go to Connected Accounts.


  • Click Add New IG Account.

  • Select Login with Facebook and complete the connection process.


 

  • Facebook Login provides a more stable Auto DM experience.

  • Instagram Business API (via direct Instagram login) often has bugs and limitations.

  • Facebook Login ensures better message delivery rate and feature compatibility in ReplyRush.

 

✅ Recommendation: Always use Facebook Login for Instagram Auto DMs to avoid unnecessary API issues and ensure smooth automation.
