Instagram’s Rule for Collaborative Posts

Instagram only allows the original publisher of a collaborative post to set up any automation, including ReplyRush’s auto DM features.

This means:

  • If you created the collaborative post → You can link it inside your ReplyRush dashboard and apply automation as normal.

  • If you are tagged as a collaborator (but didn’t publish it) → That post will not appear in your ReplyRush account for linking or automation.

 

How to Use Automation on Collaborative Posts

If you want automation to work on a collaborative post you didn’t publish:

  1. Coordinate with the original post creator.

  2. Ask them to link the post inside their ReplyRush account.

  3. They can set up triggers, templates, and automation so the collaborative post sends auto DMs as intended.
