The Username Variable lets you automatically include a user’s Instagram username in your messages. This makes automated replies more personal and improves user engagement.
## Steps
1. Open Posts/Reels, Stories, Upcoming Post, Flow Automation, Default Settings, Global Trigger, Welcome Openers, Smart Menu, Engagement Starter , Email Collector, Follow-Gated DM, Template Library that supports messages.
2. Link a new Post/Reels, Stories or other modules or edit an existing one.
3.Navigate to the **Message** section, and then go to **Media Template**, **Text Message**, **Quick Replies**, and **Button Text**.

4. Type **“U”** where you want the username to appear.
5. A suggestion list will appear with available personalization variables.
6. Select **Username** from the suggestions or press **Enter** to insert it.
7. The username variable will be added to your message automatically.
8. Save or Update the Post/Reels or Stories or other modules .

## How It Works
1. A user comments on your Instagram post or reel.
2. ReplyRush captures the commenter’s Instagram username.
3. The **Username** variable is automatically replaced with the actual username.
