you’re no longer using ManyChat, it’s important to delete your account and completely remove its access from Facebook and Instagram.
This ensures no lingering permissions remain and your accounts stay secure.
There are two essential steps to follow:
Delete your ManyChat account (inside the ManyChat dashboard).
Remove ManyChat from Facebook Business Integrations and Instagram permissions (for a full disconnect).
Log in to your ManyChat Dashboard.
Go to Settings → General.
Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account.
Before deletion, cancel your subscription using the unsubscribe link provided in your settings.
Important: You can’t delete your account while a subscription is active. Wait until your plan expires before proceeding.
Go to the Team Members section.
Remove each member individually from your account.
Go to the Channels section.
For each connected Instagram or Facebook account, click Remove Channel and confirm.
Once all team members and channels are removed, ManyChat will prompt you to type “delete” to finalize the account deletion.
Even after deleting your ManyChat account, Facebook may still have it listed in Business Integrations.
To remove:
Log in to your Facebook account.
Go to Settings → Business Integrations.
Locate ManyChat in the list.
Click Remove to fully disconnect.

If you connected ManyChat to Instagram, you should also revoke access in Instagram settings.
To remove:
Open your Instagram app.
Go to Profile → Menu (☰) → Settings & Privacy.
Tap Website Permissions or Apps and Websites.
Find ManyChat in the active list and Remove/ Revoke Access.
✅ Once you’ve completed all three steps, ManyChat will be fully deleted, and all permissions from Facebook & Instagram will be removed.
