In ReplyRush, once you’ve linked a post, reel, or story for
automation, you may need to update its settings or remove the link
entirely.
This guide explains how to edit an existing linked post and how to unlink it so automation stops.
Log in to your ReplyRush account: https://app.replyrush.com
From the sidebar, select:
Posts/Reels for post and reel automation
Stories for story automation
Locate the post, reel, or story that is already linked.
If you want to change the automation settings for a linked post:
Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the linked content.
You can now:
Change the trigger type (All Comments, Specific Keywords, AI Trigger, Share to DM).
Update keywords for keyword-based triggers.
Switch or edit the message template (Media Template, Simple Message, Quick Replies).
Adjust additional settings like Send Once Per User / Per Post or Exclude Keywords.
After making changes, click Save.
Your automation updates will take effect immediately.
If you want to stop automation for a linked post:
Click the Unlink (chain break) icon next to the post/reel/story.
Confirm the action in the pop-up prompt.
The post will be removed from your linked list and will no longer trigger DMs.
Editing a linked post keeps the connection intact and just updates your automation.
Unlinking completely removes the automation for that post — to start again, you’ll need to re-link it.
If you unlink and then re-link, you’ll have to set up triggers and templates again.
Q: Will unlinking a post delete my templates?
A: No. Templates remain saved in your account and can be reused on other posts.
Q: Can I edit the Instagram content itself from ReplyRush?
A:
No. You can only change automation settings in ReplyRush. To edit the
post’s image, caption, or tags, you’ll need to do it directly in
Instagram.
