Prerequisites for Using ReplyRush (Instagram Setup Guide)

Prerequisites for Using ReplyRush

Before you can start automating your Instagram DMs with ReplyRush, there are a few important requirements you need to check.
The requirements depend on the connection method you choose — Facebook Login or Instagram Login.

 

If You Connect via Facebook Login (Recommended)

  1. Instagram Account Type

    • Your Instagram account must be set to either a Creator or Business account.

    • Personal Instagram accounts are not supported for automation features.

  2. Facebook Page

    • Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page.

    • A personal Facebook profile alone is not sufficient — the Instagram account must be connected to a Page.

  3. Full Admin Access

    • You must have full Admin access to both your Facebook Page and Instagram account.

    • Editor or other lower-level roles may not have the required permissions for automation.

 

If You Connect via Instagram Login

  1. Instagram Account Type

    • Your Instagram account can be Personal, Creator, or Business — but for best performance and more features, we recommend switching to Creator or Business.

  2. Facebook Page

    • Not required for Instagram Login connections. You can connect directly to your Instagram account without a linked Facebook Page.

 

Why These Are Important

These prerequisites are set by Meta (the parent company of Facebook and Instagram) to control how third-party platforms like ReplyRush can access and send DMs.
Using Facebook Login gives you the most reliable connection, while Instagram Login is faster and simpler for basic automation.
