Hourly DM Send Limit & Safety Queue in ReplyRush
ReplyRush Safety Queue: How the 600 DMs per Hour Limit Works
To help protect your Instagram account and comply with Meta’s guidelines, ReplyRush uses a limit of 600 DMs per hour. This safeguard helps prevent excessive message sending and reduces the risk of restrictions or account blocks.
What Happens if Your Content Goes Viral?
If your Reel, Post, or Story suddenly goes viral and receives thousands of comments within minutes, ReplyRush automatically manages DM sending to help keep your account safe.
Here’s what happens:
Once 600 DMs have been sent within a single hour, ReplyRush temporarily pauses sending new DMs.
DM sending automatically resumes at the start of the next hour.
How the Safety Queue System Works
ReplyRush includes a built-in Safety Queue to help ensure comments are not missed during periods of high traffic.
Here’s how it works:
The hourly limit is reached: Once 600 DMs have been sent in an hour, additional messages are held in the queue.
Pending comments are queued: Additional comments are stored in the Safety Queue while sending is paused.
Sending resumes gradually: Pending DMs are processed over subsequent hours as sending capacity becomes available.
The queue is processed: ReplyRush continues processing pending messages until the queue is cleared, provided the messages remain eligible for delivery and Meta allows them to be sent.
This system helps manage high volumes of comments while keeping DM sending within ReplyRush’s configured hourly limit.
Important Notes
Sendback feature: If you use Sendback on posts with a large number of comments, the Safety Queue also applies to help manage message delivery within the configured limit.
Paid plans: The Safety Queue is automatically enabled on all paid plans.
Please note: The 600 DMs per hour limit is a ReplyRush safeguard, not a guarantee against Meta restrictions. Meta may apply additional limits or restrictions depending on your account status and messaging activity.
