How to Fix: "400 Error" When Connecting Instagram to ReplyRush

Running into a 400 Error while trying to connect your Instagram account to ReplyRush? Don’t worry—this is a fairly common issue, and in most cases, it’s easy to fix.

What Does a 400 Error Mean?

The 400 Error stands for “Bad Request.” In simple terms, it means Instagram’s servers couldn’t process the request sent from your browser or device. This usually happens due to a client-side issue (something on your end, not Instagram’s).

Common causes include:

  • Corrupted or outdated cookies in your browser

  • Conflicts from being logged into Instagram on multiple devices

  • Browser or device compatibility issues with Instagram’s login flow

How to Fix the 400 Error

Here are a few proven steps you can try. In most cases, one of these will resolve the issue:

1. Open in Incognito/Private Mode

This clears cached data and disables extensions that might interfere.

  • Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + N (Mac)

  • Firefox/Safari: Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + P (Mac)

2. Switch Your Network

Try a different Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot. Some networks may block Instagram’s requests.

3. Use a Different Browser

If you’re on Chrome, try Firefox, Edge, or Safari—and vice versa.

4. Try Another Device

Switching to another phone or computer helps rule out device-specific issues.

5. Log Out Everywhere

Log out of Instagram on all devices, then log back in on just one before reconnecting to ReplyRush.

6. Wait and Retry

If you’ve made several attempts in a short time, Instagram may temporarily block the request. Wait 5–10 minutes, then try again.
